Atlas Steel PNG is a member of the Kenmore Group of Companies, one of the most diverse business conglomerates in Papua New Guinea. With origins over 48 years ago, the Kenmore Group of Companies employ over 1,500 staff and today has seven main operating divisions: Industrial, Property, Automotive, Transport, Agriculture, Finance and an Administration Division.

Upholding Local Manufacturing for Economic Growth
Manufacturing offshore and selling imported finished steel products is proven to be a more profitable business module than manufacturing locally. But by doing so we would not be supporting the domestic economy. Since our beginnings in 1973, it has been a corporate commitment to keep our operations local, thus creating employment opportunities and contributing to the nation’s socio-economic development process.
Aid and Community Support
As part of our contribution to the infrastructure development across various sections of the society, Atlas Steel PNG have and will continue to provide free technical and material assistance to many aid agencies and missions.
We have pledged a K1,000 contribution from the sale of every full-kit house sold in PNG to St John Ambulance in their mission to serve the community.
Atlas Steel PNG has been a proud sponsor of Digicel Foundation’s Men of Honor campaign since its launch in 2014. This initiative focuses on promoting positive behavior among men in Papua New Guinea, aiming to break the cycle of violence.
